The Last Conjuration: trapped alone in a dungeon, will you make it out alive?
A short first-person horror game. You followed a rumour about a wine cellar with a lifetime supply of wine, and woke up as the prisoner of a crazed wizard who wants to become a master conjurer.

How it plays
You're alone in the dungeon except for another prisoner, and he's been possessed. Sneak, crouch and run through the halls, and pick up and place items as you work out how to escape.
The room you start in is the one place the enemy can't follow. Get caught four times and you're sent back to the safe room. Get caught again and it's game over.

What I learned
This was my first 3D game in Godot, and most of the assets are my own.
Building in 3D
Laying out a full dungeon level, lighting it so it's dark enough to be scary but still playable, and keeping it running smoothly.
An enemy that hunts you
Writing the enemy's chase and catch logic in GDScript, plus the safe room it isn't allowed to enter.
Making my own assets
Low-poly models with pixel-art textures for the kitchen, the skeleton room and the objects you can pick up and use.
Shipping it
Exporting for Windows, testing on different PCs and publishing on itch.io, where players can pay what they like.
